Mate - friend
Middy - 285 ml beer glass (NSW)
Oz - Australia
Pissed as a family fart - very drunk, sometimes used to insult a younger drinker to imply that they are like the old family drunk
Pissed as a parrot - drunk
Pissed off - you are angry or unhappy with something
Pot - 285 ml glass of beer (VIC & Qld)
Road train - long truck
Schooner - large beer glass (NSW & SA)
Sheila -a woman (not used any more other than by some old timers)
Snag - sausage (put a snag on the barbie)
Ta - thanks
Tinnie - can of cold beer or a aluminium boat
Ute - utility (in the USA a pickup truck)
Vegies - vegetables
